Team Banshee

Is it Ogopogo? Sasquatch? Yeti? Loch Ness? or Rambling Gadabouts chugging along a dusty dirt road in their mobile residence: a bright yellow 1969 3 door, long body Land Rover Series IIA named – Yster Ratel (Afrikaans for Iron Honey Badger).

Viewing the world through the eyes of a Speech Language Pathologist (Tamaira), Mechanical Engineer and Welder (Michel) the countries on the hit list are too numerous to list. Born and raised in rural Alberta, Canada we’ve honed our sense of adventure in the Rocky Mountains, high passes of the Peruvian Andes and volcanoes of Costa Rica and Hawaii. Budget slow travel is the goal for PROJECT BANSHEE and any day spent interacting with locals, freezing moments on a dslr sensor, rafting, caving, hiking, camping, scuba diving or overlanding rugged terrain will be given full stars and a complimentary Snowbirds fly by. Passionate about food, we’re interested in local food production and preparation. Speaking French and English with bits of Spanish we will manage to communicate with folks of all languages.

We hope you enjoy browsing the site as much as we have creating it!

Cheers, Tamaira & Michel
